The road that got us where we are today started in Queretaro, Mexico with our founder, Oscar Martinez. As a boy, he lived through the hardships of the Spanish Civil War and WWII before moving back to Mexico at age 17. He lost his father soon thereafter, but none of that could slow down his drive for moving forward. In his 20’s, he quickly grew his family’s paint company to become Mexico’s largest and eventually sold to an industry giant, Mobil (today Exxon Mobil).
After selling his company, he continued to march forward with several other business ventures in multiple industries. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to buying a small automotive chemical company, Artlux. With the support of what he called his “greatest assets”, he and his kids built that company into the largest automotive chemical company in Mexico.
Artlux’s first products were used to detail vehicles, but one vehicle could never be detailed as well as the rest, the pickup truck. It was clear that truck owners needed lasting protection for their truck bed. With a history of coatings, passion for great chemistry and entrepreneurial spirit, we were able to create the solution that we have been passionately perfecting for over 30 years. TOFF.
Across three generations, our founder’s legacy lives on in the work we do every day and the mindset that will always keep us true to our values. To think big, always look ahead and never stop moving forward.

Our passion for great chemistry has led us to protecting over a million trucks, becoming the first spray on bedliner company to work with US Truck Manufacturers and partnering with Freightliner to protect the fleets of FEDEX and UPS. We have grown our international presence by creating working relationships with numerous truck manufacturers including: Ford, Volkswagen, General Motors, Nissan, Toyota, Mazda, and Great Wall Motors. It’s why hundreds of major truck dealerships have partnered with us, some for 20-30 years, and why the most diehard truck owners will always trust TOFF.
From manufacturing our chemical, distributing it and operating our application facilities, we are involved in every step of the bedliner business.
